U.S. grid narrowly escapes apocalyptic attack

Ladies & Gentlemen,

The apparent rubber-stamp hearing by the U.S. Subcommittee on Communications and Technology requires action. Members of the committee need to know that a troubled economy is not improved by embracing an unregulated business sector based on dangerous technology. The general public needs to know what is transpiring before their eyes.
The very people who will be forced to pay financially will suffer the consequences in terms of health and privacy. Who votes for people who do not act in the interests of the people. Unfortunately, the committee members, by embracing 5G technology are placing the world at risk. Any financial benefits will be short lived as the effects of microwave radiation affects the population if the warning of 15,000 scientists are to be believed..
It is instructive to see how careers of critics are shortened such as Prof. Olle Johansson, late of the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm and former Cern physicist, Dr. Katherine Horton.
And yet, there is hope in the names and faces of the organizers of the 2nd International Forum on Electromagnet Environmental Pollution and the brave people who have agreed to speak at the forum in Krakow.
More evidence of bravery comes from Joe Esposito and Margaret Alfonso in Oklahoma. (See covers of their court filings below.)
They are all living proof of courage to confront the powerful forces that are pushing using into a digital age of surveillance and social control. Now technology has come up with a “digital pill” which will tell your doctor if you have taken your medicine.
From cars to medicines, the Internet of Things (IoT) powered by 5G has yet to show how the individual will benefit and his privacy and security will be protected. If the individual is not protected, then Democracy will become history.
Please circulate widely.
Kind regards,
John Weigel

#SubCommTech Examines 5G and the Future of Mobile Broadband

WASHINGTON, DC – The Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, chaired by Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), held a hearing today on the potential economic, technological, and societal impacts of fifth generation (5G) mobile broadband.

In her statement submitted for the record, Chairman Blackburn highlighted the promise of the 5G revolution, “The potential benefits include: enhanced mobile broadband that can provide speeds that are 10 to 100 times faster than what exists today; ultra-low latency communications that are necessary for mission-critical applications like autonomous vehicles and remote surgery; and the massive machine-to-machine communications that constitute the “Internet of Things.” According to Cisco, there will be nearly 50 billion IoT devices connected by the year 2020. Taken together, the applications of 5G promise to revolutionize manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, city management, power generation and distribution, as well as law enforcement and emergency response.”

The FCC is having a terrible month, and consumers will pay the price

Federal Communications Commission chairman Ajit Pai is setting a record pace for deregulating the communications industries. Since becoming chairman in January, he has, among other things, reinstated an outdated rule that allows TV companies like Sinclair to become massive, proposed to deregulate broadband and eliminate the agency’s popular net neutrality rules, proposed lowering the speed standard for broadband, refused to defend the agency’s decision to lower outrageous prison phone rates, and weakened the programs that provide subsidies for broadband for schools and libraries and the poor.

Believe it or not, things are about to get worse this month. Starting with the FCC’s open meeting tomorrow, the agency is poised to approve or propose no fewer than four decisions that will deregulate consolidated industries, remove consumer protections, and widen the digital divide.

  • the agency will vote to weaken or eliminate rules that, among other things, limit cross-ownership of radio and TV stations in one market
  • the proposal seeks to “reform” Lifeline, the program that provides a small subsidy so that low-income Americans can afford broadband service.
  • incumbent telephone companies will be able to discontinue copper services at will, with no notice or analysis of its impact on its customers.
  • an order that would eliminate the FCC’s oversight over broadband providers and either severely curtail or more likely eliminate the strong 2015 net neutrality rules.

Prof. Olle Johansson’s career at the Karolinska has ended

The activities of The Experimental Dermatology Unit, at the Department of Neuroscience, The Karolinska Institute, have ceased due to inadequate resources.

U.S. grid narrowly escapes apocalyptic attack

The American grid security story grows increasingly grim. Last week, security consulting firm Symantec warned that recent cyberattacks gave hackers direct access to the nation’s power grid on multiple occasions, according to a new report by Wired.

This time, not only the United States was exposed, said Symantec. Europe also experienced similar vulnerabilities, proving the hackers could have induced blackouts on both sides of the Atlantic. Thankfully, this apocalyptic scenario didn’t happen.

Microsoft, GE sign agreement on new wind project in Ireland

On Monday, Microsoft Corp. announced a new wind energy agreement in Ireland. With the agreement, Microsoft will become one of the first multinational technology companies to support a new wind project in Ireland.
Microsoft is entering into a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with GE to purchase 100 percent of the wind energy from its new, 37-megawatt Tullahennel wind farm in County Kerry, Ireland. The agreement will help support the growing demand for Microsoft Cloud services from Ireland. As part of the deal, Microsoft also signed an agreement with Dublin-based energy trading company ElectroRoute; it will provide energy trading services to Microsoft.

In addition to producing energy, the project will produce valuable data on energy storage. Each turbine will have an integrated battery; Microsoft and GE will test how these batteries can be used to capture and store excess energy, and then provide it back to the grid as needed. This provides more predictable power to an increasingly green Irish grid, by smoothing out peaks and valleys in wind production. This will better enable intermittent clean power sources like wind energy to be added to the Irish grid. This will be the first deployment of battery integration into wind turbines to store energy in Europe.

EMF pollution and chronic disease – The untold truth exposed

by: Jonathan Landsman

(Natural News) With the national rollout of smart meters and the advent of 5G wireless technology, healthcare professionals like Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD are becoming increasingly concerned about the threat posed by EMF pollution. But, in my opinion, electromagnetic fields (EMFs) are still one of the most overlooked health issues of our time – even by integrative healthcare providers.

No doubt, over the past few decades, microwave radiation from EMFs has intensified steadily, and with this increase has come a corresponding rise in the incidence of such illnesses as Lyme disease, diabetes and chronic fatigue syndrome. (to name just a couple serious health conditions)

Dr. Klinghardt says, ‘it’s no coincidence.’

Wi-Fi experiment done by group of 9th grade students got serious international attention. THIS is why…

Researchers from England, Holland and Sweden have shown great interest in the experiment done by 5 girls from northern Jutland in 9th grade.

They did an experiment for a biology test, so brilliant, that it has attracted international attention among acknowledged biologists and radiation experts.

The girls got really surprised by the sudden attention from all around the world.

“It has been such a rollercoaster ride. I still cannot believe it”, says Lea Nielsen, one of the girls.

“It’s totally overwhelming and exciting. It’s just not something you experience every day”. added Mathilde Nielsen, another girl from the group.

It all started because they found it difficult to concentrate during the school day:

“We all think we have experienced difficulty concentrating in school, if we had slept with the phone next to our head, and sometimes also experienced having difficulty sleeping”, explains Lea Nielsen.

So here is what they did:

They took 400 cress seeds and placed them in 12 trays. Then, they placed 6 trays in 2 separate rooms at the same temperature. They gave the same amount of water and sun to all the trays for 12 days.

However, 6 of the trays were put next to two [Wi-Fi] routers. Such routers broadcast the same type of radiation as an ordinary mobile.

After 12 days what the result spoke was clear: cress seeds next to the router did not grow, and some of them were even mutated or dead.

Effects of olive leaf extract on metabolic disorders and oxidative stress induced by 2.45 GHz Wi-Fi signals.

Environmental Toxicology and Pharmacology, vol. 36, no. 3, 2013, pp. 826-34.//www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23994945

From this study, Wi-Fi exposure (2.45 GHz) of rats for 1h/day during 21 consecutive days induced a diabetes-like status through alteration of oxidative response in liver and kidneys. Results were statistically significant (p<0.05).

The Wi-Fi radiation:

• decreased the activities of antioxidants glutathione peroxidase (GPx, −33.33% and −49.40%)catalase(CAT, −43.39% and −39.62%) and the superoxide dismutase (SOD,−59.29% and −68.53%) and groups thiol amount (−62.68% and −34.85%), respectively in liver and kidneys. (GPx, CAT, and SOD are the antioxidants produced by the body to fight oxidative damage, which leads to aging and disease)

• increased oxidative damage, i.e. increased the malondialdehyde (MDA, 29.69% and 51.35%) concentration respectively in liver and kidneys. (MDA is a byproduct of lipid peroxidation, and hence an indicator of oxidative damage)

• ~150% higher levels of plasma triglycerides (compared to controls), ~50% higher levels of AST and ALT (compared to controls) which could indicate inflammatory hepatocellular (liver) disorders, and higher plasma creatinine level (considered as kidney function marker).

Olive leaves extract administration (100 mg/kg) in RF-exposed rats prevented glucose metabolism disruption and restored the activities of GPx, CAT and SOD and thiol group amount in liver and kidneys. The

olive leave extract administration was able to bring down the elevated levels of MDA in liver but not in kidneys. Olive leaves extract was able to correct glucose metabolism disorder by minimizing oxidative stress induced by RF in rat tissues.

SOD is used for treating pain and swelling (inflammation) caused by osteoarthritissports injuries, and rheumatoid arthritis; a kidney condition called interstitial cystitisgout; poisoning caused by a weed-killer called paraquat; cancer; and lung problems in newborns. It also improves tolerance to radiation therapy, rejection rates in kidney transplantation, and minimizes heart damage caused by heart attacks.

Association of exposure to radio-frequency electromagnetic field radiation (RF-EMFR) generated by mobile phone base stations with glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) and risk of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus , Sultan Ayoub Meo et al (Saudi Arabia), International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, 2015

• Saudi Arabian study – higher HbA1c in students exposed to higher levels of cell tower radiation. In school-1, RF-EMFR was 9.601 nW/cm2 at frequency of 925 MHz. In school-2, RF-EMFR was 1.909 nW/cm2 at frequency of 925 MHz The mean HbA1c for the students who were exposed to high RF-EMFR was significantly higher (5.44 ± 0.22) than the mean HbA1c for the students who were exposed to low RF-EMFR (5.32 ± 0.34) (p = 0.007). Moreover, students who were exposed to high RF-EMFR generated by MPBS had a significantly higher risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus (p = 0.016) relative to their counterparts who were exposed to low RF-EMFR. It is concluded that exposure to high RF-EMFR generated by MPBS is associated with elevated levels of HbA1c and risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

In conclusion, our analysis demonstrates that low-intensity RFR is an expressive oxidative agent for living cells with a high pathogenic potential and that the oxidative stress induced by RFR exposure should be recognized as one of the primary mechanisms of the biological activity of this kind of radiation.

FCC vision of 5G – without regulation, without concerns

Tom Wheeler, head of the FCC in the US (comparable to Ind. Canada), who has had a long history of working for and with the telecom industry, gave one of the scariest speeches ever, basically saying that technology was to be allowed to develop and be used without regulation, without concerns for any ramifications. Technology at all costs, even the health of future generations. This approach and the use of 5G will apply to non-licensed frequencies as well as licensed, which means things like wifi and $$meters and other devices we haven’t heard of could use these untested, unsupervised signals.

THIS IS HOW IT ENDS: Thousands of scientists sign ‘Warning To Humanity’ letter predicting an imminent Apocalypse

The just issued warning from the science community in the article below may seem dire, but in fact, the warning falls far short of reality. Issues like the ozone layer collapse are completely glossed over in this new warning which simply pushes the official lie that the ozone layer is recovering (which, again, is patently false). The worsening ozone layer collapse alone has the potential to cause planetary omnicide in the next decade (or less) and that factor is not even considered in the warning from the scientists. Our collective reality will not be the same for much longer, collapse on many fronts is imminent and now very close. We are already well into the curve of the 6th mass extinction on our planet, is there any chance of salvaging what is yet left of Earth’s life support systems? Perhaps that depends on that actions we collectively take, or don’t. Time is not on our side, as the biosphere collapse becomes impossible to hide, the power structure will become more desperate and dangerous than ever. We must all do our part to sound the alarm, life on Earth is in the balance.

Are electric cars as clean as they seem?

Tesla’s unveiling of its mass market Model 3 sparked a global interest in making electric vehicles the next big thing in automobile manufacturing. But can the category’s green agenda keep up with its metal and recycling needs?

The concept of bunking the traditional engine for a non-gas guzzling counterpart has been here for decades, but creating an ecosystem for battery charging and bringing vehicle costs down was a challenge for decades.

The sheer force of Elon Musk’s vision is building the infrastructure needed to sustain millions of electric cars in the United States, Europe, and elsewhere. Most major manufacturers have joined the enthusiasm to ditch old-school engines to construct the international fleet of tomorrow.

But this new step doesn’t solve all of the world’s environmental pollution issues related to transportation. The extraction of rare earth minerals, the disposal of lithium-ion batteries, and the sourcing of the energy that powers charging stations are all issues that plague the future of the green argument for electric vehicles.

Book Review

Written by Miriam Lindbeck, EMRS

It was Thursday night, September 28, 2017, and a number of the IBE students in the EMRS training were sitting around enjoying after-dinner conversation. One of the students, a physician, surprised all of us by bringing in unannounced, Arthur Firstenberg, author of the recently published book, “The Invisible Rainbow, a History of Electricity and Life.”
None of us knew who Arthur was, and little did we know his book was about to change our lives.
When he was asked, “What’s the most surprising piece of information in your book?”, he sat up straight in his chair as if preparing to shock us and in a strident voice, boomed, “Influenza is an electrical phenomenon!” The shock factor succeeded.
The room exploded with excitement. He only had eight copies of his book with him, so in a swift move, I secured one, while the others got hungrily swept up by nearby students. With more approaching him, dollar bills pressing through their fingers, he needed to have brought at least a dozen more. The rest were referred to his website to buy a copy: (www.cellphonetaskforce.org).

Massachusetts EMF Bills Update: Timely Action

The upshot: Your testimony is needed for the medical training and insurance coverage bill — please fill out the attached and send in today — thanks!
The backstory:
I realize we are heading into the holiday season but I’d like to ask for your help. A very determined high school teacher who became electrically sensitive from EMF exposures at school and is now unable to continue with her profession, brought the EMF issue to her state senator.
He, like most of our legislators, wasn’t aware wireless technology brings risks. Since the teacher had become an expert he deferred to her to write a bill to train the medical community on EMFs and have treatment covered by insurance.
That bill is expected to be up for public hearing on November 28. Could you please take a few minutes to send in testimony? This bill is before a new committee which has not been involved in the other Massachusetts EMF bills so it is important they hear directly from each of us who can take five minutes to fill in the attached template.
Even if you only have time to say this is important and ask for the committee’s leadership, it will go a long way toward raising awareness of this critical issue. I’ve been told that our legislators know for every person who sends in testimony there are many others out there who feel the same way. But if all of us are too busy with our other priorities to send in testimony, this bill will languish undistinguished from the thousands of other bills the Massachusetts legislature must process this session.
The attached template will make submission easy. You can also find it on the MA EMF Bills page, along with templates for the other bills.
Wishing those of you celebrating Thanksgiving next week a blessed day with loved ones.

Thanks, as ever, for your time and consideration.
